As we recently reported, Robert Smyth Academy has been given planning approval for a new artificial pitch to be built in the grounds of the school on Burnmill Road in Market Harborough.
Over the past year, MHHC has been working closely with Robert Smyth Academy to help fund the project, and as a result the Club has been awarded a grant from the National Hockey Association towards the cost of the pitch. As part of the conditions of the grant, the Club has been asked to contribute additional funds in the region of £20,000 for the project.
This is an enormous amount for our Club to raise, especially at the moment as we are unable to host the fundraising events we had planned for the Summer. So, to help us on the way to achieving this goal we have set up a crowdfunding page on the JustGiving website for donations to the pitch fund.
Please help us to raise the £20,000 contribution towards this new sports facility at Robert Smyth Academy, and provide additional hockey pitch space for the Club, the school, and the wider community. Every donation counts, big or small!

Advertise your business on the new pitch
To help with the Pitch Fund we also have many sponsorship and advertising packages available to businesses. We will be selling advertising space (on banners, storage, equipment, etc.) around the new pitch at Robert Smyth Academy. For more information, please get in contact by email.
A big thank you to everyone who would like to donate to the MHHC Pitch Fund, and also to all those who have helped with the project to date.
